3 way port valve siemens 3pmp-v22

Hi, I have a siemens 3pmp-v22 3 way valve and I think its playing up, can the top part be just changed if so with same or different siemens type or do I have to drain down the system and change brass body as well,

Symptoms for my thinking Its playing up are -heating comes on at 6am and C/H due to come on at 8am - when water comes on C/H does too, this morning it was loud tapping as well. Does this stop heating water up when its gets to temp on cylinder ?

You can't replace the actuator (that's the box part) by itself on that valve. It's a complete valve replacement - drain down.

Put in a Honeywell when you do the job.

I have just had to replace one of these valves at my daughters house.

What could have been a 10 min job turned out to be a whole lot more.

Fitted a Honeywell V4073
