I'm working on a. Abacus ( could be an 8 but it has no model number on it). I'm getting an error code and I don't know what it means.
I'm doing a Walk test and it's coming up with the following code:
Top line: Test CCTA
Bottom line: 2A NITE LP

Can any one help?

How do you know it is an error if you don't know what it means?

As a pure, and I say pure, guess...

Test = Walk Test
CCT = Testing circuits
A = On area A

2A = Circuit 2
Nite = Omitted during night setting
LP= No idea!

That was a total guess, but an educated one. If you get the panel model number then you can look in the manual. I'd put money on there being a sticker on the main board somewhere telling you.

the LP could be a comet LP a pir that DA made for the abacus alarm panel, it has a built in zone splitter on a 3 wire connection 12+ 12- and a single wire return, you could link another pir to the first one and it showed as 1B and 1A for the first one, the comet could only be used on the abacus, a later version called the stella could be used on any panel.
