accenta g3 alarm power cut problems

Hi all

I am a complete novice with alarms so I am looking for some assistance if possible.

We had to turn the power off last week and when we turned the power back on there was a continuous high pitched noise coming from the alarm box.

I have opened the box up and I have changed the battery but the noise will not go away unless I turn the power back off.

It appears to be a tamper alarm or warning alarm but I was wondering if anyone has come across this before and has any advice for me in dealing with the issue.

Any help would be much appreciate.

I have entered my code and have pressed reset but the noise persists.
