Accenta/Optima Alarm won't set

Hello

I have had a new Accenta/Optima alarm system fitted using the previous wiring from a working alarm system.

The installation process went well until we had a tamper alert which was fixed by stretching the spring in the remote keypad.

The system is now fully functional on all tests - however it will not set. The bleeping just continues and there is no trouble shooting section that I can see in the manual to help.

Has anyone any suggestions please?

Are there any error messages on the keypad

Thank you for your replies. The old alarm was set for door exit to set. The door is still in the loop as the electrician isolated it to see if that was the problem. No problem.
There are no error messages.

As Sparky says
Your alarm could be set to final door set ?
If you isolate the door,the alarm system will still be looking for a final door set,so the alarm will not set.
You need to check your programming and ensure alarm is programmed to timed set.
