dear all,

Newly plastered bathroom painted with Leyland super latex, then 2 coats of Leyland acrylic eggshell. Wanted to change the wall colour from brilliant to white to more of an off white. By mistake, a coat of kitchen / bathroom paint has been applied to the walls. Not a great finish. Can this be overpainted with acrylic eggshell as I prefer the ease of use of this paint.

Thanks in advance.

It should be fine because K&B paint is effectively a thinner/cheaper version of acrylic eggshell. To be sure it adheres, wait a couple of days (if possible) to allow the K&B paint to cure and give it all very light sanding with 180/240 grit sandpaper, just to provide a better key for the acrylic eggshell.
