Add room thermostat, existing wiring done by mad man?

Hi,

Would like to add a room thermostat, preferable a wireless one to my existing setup.

Spent a while tracing wires and did a diagram, please excuse my skills in Paint.

The system was put in in 1994, so isn't the most modern.

Pretty sure block 15 holds the key to this, just need a push in the right direction :)

Was thinking of one of these:

Edit: Just to add, I have replaced the motorized valves previously and wired them up OK, so im not scared of a bit of wiring.

OK, here is my thought:

Re-terminate L (15) from the CH Valve to (11).
Connect socket 1 on Digitstat to L (15).
Connect socket 3 on Digistat to (11).

N & L on Digistat to (10) & (16) respectively?

Well, I would hope that the LP522 programmer would specify the times when the heating was allowed to be on and the room temp sensor would kick it on or off depending on the temp?

Unless I've got this wrong.

Edit: Hey!, Ninja post editing :p

Can't see anything wrong with that. You have even got the Digistat wired the "correct" way round. :D ;)

The LP522 will say when the heating is allowed to come on; the Digistat if it needs to come on.

Thanks, glad to know I am on the right track.

Will get one ordered and have a go now. :D
