ADE Optima Compact Issues

My daughter has just moved into a flat with one of these alarms.

We have been unable to get the code however by using various forums I have managed to reset it.

The problem now is that I can't get the alarm to set. The warning tones simply don't start. Is there something I have forgot to do?

Yes fully re program the system as you have probably defaulted it to factory set.
