I'm about to install this for the first time. On information suppliers' provide it's recommended to:

a) start on the left hand wall

&

b) work away from the window light.

Grateful as to why these are recommended.

Thanks

How do you know which is the left hand wall ! depends which way you are facing in the room. Always lay the boards the longest direction.

Thanks Robbie

What's the minimum skirting undercover on an MDF 192 x 1800mm plank on the long length? Given mdf expansion/contraction, is a 3mm cover OK? I'm working on 5mm for the width end.

Also

Does the short edge fitting go against the wall?
