advise on bedroom ceiling please

Hi there i hope someone can advise me on my sons bedroom ceiling.
there used to be polystyrene tiles on the ceiling from when my parents lived here, i took them down and used polyripple to cover up the glue spots that were left. we had a cupboard ripped out a few months back and found some more tiles to be taken down. i am now wondering whether to polyripple the whole ceiling again or if there is a better way to do this like wall paper or any other ideas ? bare in mind i am a short single female so will be doing this myself

I would follow the same procedure as you did originally.
Then give the whole ceiling the once over, so it's all nice clean and new.

You could use lining paper then paint it with Acrylic eggshell
