Yes. Wouldn't it be nice if all the taxes we pay ultimately benefited us and not corrupt third world dictators and their counterparts, the dictators in Brussels?
I also believe there is a lot of waste in this country: form-filling, box-ticking, armies of bureaucrats justifying their jobs by passing papers to each other for no practical reason. Then, of course, there are the 'managers' in the NHS who, if reports are to be believed, outnumber the nurses.
