My bungalow that i recentley purchased has got cavity wall insulation,the blown in type also i have noticed that the air bricks have been blocked up on the outside of the property presumabley to stop the insulation escaping when it was being done is this in order.

Okay no worried there because if you did have suspended wood flooring then it will lead to damp/dry rot.

As for wall insulation cavity I don't know much about them so I assumed you don't need air-vent for this.
