Hi
I'm sure this is possible but just wanted to double check with the experts.
If i have a section of alarm wire i'd like to replace or if i want to extend can i
1) Strip wires, put together and use insulation tape to make connection
2) Am i better using a Junction box like this
http://www.toolstation.com/shop/Safety+Security/d200/Burglar+Alarms/sd2759/6+Way+Junction+Box/p99453
For those who don't click on links it's just a 6 way small rectangular box supposed to be for alarms
I need to also maybe test existing cables that they not damaged is there a cheap and easy device or something i can do for this
Thanks
