Ah.. Is it the one on the horse?

Thats the one.........Go ged em cowboy......YEE HAA!!! :D

Unfortunately, the one with the horse, is not Everest. It is Anglian Home Improvements which has the horse and knight.

Many Thanks,

Anglian.

Anglian fitted houseful of windows - rain poured through when first rained. Still leaking water and air everywhere = cold house max 20 degrees in winter with boiler on full.
Repair team did less than a third of items on small list, created more problems with cement too high on sills so water into cavity.
More than 2 YEARS later... Anglian fobbing customer off... despite survey reports which also say windows have been made too small and filled with plastic extensions. Plastic trims not sealed so leaking air,
when lifted daylight can be seen from outside, sealant is wrong type so attracts dirt and can't be cleaned so looks like derelict building,
huge gaps now found around windows- you can put your hand through,
thin plastic covering 30mm cavity so NO insulation.
Defeats the purpose of double glazing and is worse than the old windows.
No privacy as Anglian have added so much extra plastic to cover the problems that blinds and nets can't be returned so main curtains have to be closed all day.
It feels like the house is destroyed, problems have gone on and on and on and on. If this were in their glossy brochures they would be out of business. 10 year guarantee is worth nothing as this is a rogue trader job by a certified national company. Bay has dropped - cracking walls of upstairs room and ceiling and walls of downstairs room.
and ROUND bay poles put on SQUARE bay - destroying symmetry with neighbouring houses.

I would like to know who can help with this.

Glass & Glazing Fed only send your correspondence to Anglian, Insurance and solicitors take for ever to do nothing, British Board of Agrement who provide their certificates just leave it to Anglian, despite their inspector failing the installation on non compliance with building regulations, Trading Standards don't deal with the public any more, just refer you to Consumer Direct call centre so you can write some letters and DIY.

Is it any wonder all these Rogue Trader programmes on TV have no shortage of victims. The BBA said all the various certificates don't cover bay windows anyway and they don't know of any organisation who do. So how is it that the homeowner has to have a FENSA registered company - who will give you a FENSA certificate for a rogue trader job??? Is there nobody that regulates this???
