just had a new combi boiler installed. the shower now goes hot when the toilet is flushed.

I have a new thermostat shower unit to go in, but will this solve the problem ?

Is there some magical valve that will solve my problem

Your thermostatic vale should stop you scalding but it will cut the flow right down. If there's no isolation valve on the WC, put one on it, and turn it right down. This will make the wc slow to fill, possibly with an extra noise.

It's also possible that the funnel shaped bit in the wc float valve is a Low Pressure, red one, where it should be a High P white.

thanks chris.

so essentially you suggest reducing the flow.

I'm suprised theres not something that is a bit more inteligent.

It would only need to be T shape, bit like a central heating system.

just tell everyone in house not to flush the loo while you are in the shower. Thats how many people with a combi cope
