aqualisa shower dripping

have taken off the shower head and bendy pipe and the bit of pipe that sticks out of the wall has a dribble of water coming out of it. Does this mean that I have to replace the whole shower cartridge? its about 6 years old.

We recently had a pump fitted to increase pressure in the shower and it keeps sporadically turning on for a few seconds. Could the dripping shower be the cause?

Yes, a new cartridge is nedded.

it could be a low pressure cartridge

be sure to mention that the shower is pumped now when you get the replacment
