Hi all am in a new build house and want to bring extra line from ariel in loft to a bedroom , question is do you think its possible to come from loft inside plasterboard wall and pull through just above a desk height . The only thing i can see getting in the way is horizontal stud work , or are stud walls just built with vertical timbers , do you think this is acheivable .

should be horizontal noggins usually 1200mm up from the floor also probably insulation to contend with but yes well possible even if you have to pass noggins. I would cut out plasterboard with a holesaw at the noggin, notch out the noggin to take the coax then refix the circle of plasterboard with a screw each side of the notch and fill and decorate

A lot of new builds now use metal framework for the stud walls, and they don't have noggins.....
