Ariston A1636S water leak.

I have a water leak from the flexible water hose going in to the back of the washing machine. (Main water inlet.) managed to fix that but now water leak has moved to about 2 or 3 inches in on the dispenser assembly. Leaking just before the water valves from what looks like a round white nut it is leaking from the threads there. Is it possible to undo this and use ptf tape?
Any help much appreciated. thank you.

Yes u need complete dispenser unit with valves not sold seperately. Cost 25.00 part no is 1604485.

Thanks for the reply. Any idea where I can get the complete dispenser assembly for £25. Had a quote earlier for £60 to buy it from a site.
