I have an Ariston Combi boiler with a Grasslin digital timer. The boiler seemed to be working fine and was providing central heating (under floor) and hot water up until yesterday evening.
The boiler comes with a switch (off, hot water, hot water and heating), when the heating is not being used the switch remains on the hot water setting and the boiler switches on when the hot water is being used. When the heating is required the switch is set to the heating and water setting and the under floor heating starts up, should the hot water be needed the boiler automatically switches to water and heats it when you turn on the hot tap.
The problem I am having is that the boiler is no longer switching to the hot water (at either the hot water setting or when at the water and heating setting), the under floor heating continues to work fine.
I had a similar problem in the past and the engineer twiddled with the digital programmer to get it working again, I have been trying this with no success.
Can you please advice on what I should do?
