Hi. I've just had my attic converted but i'm a bit worried about the way the new sockets have been wired.
The electrician has put a 30a jb on the ring main and has a 13a fcu on the wall above this. The fcu is then wired to a double socket which in turn is wired to another double socket and another. Does this sound ok?

I know from previous posts that you can't have a spur off a spur - is this what he has done?? Or is it safe because the fcu is before any of the sockets?? Please help.

You can have an unlimited number of sockets on an FCU, its proberly not the most elegant solution but its safe

Thanks Adam.
Am i right in assuming that if the fcu is not there this would not be permissable.
