Hi all

Got a gap of about 750mm where WC will go, and rather then buy a 600mm unit with gaps either side, is it possible to make your own out of stud timber?

Anyone done this?

You could knock up a boxing-in arrangement with 2" x 2" and melamine panels.

Use hardboard to make scribing templates then cut the melamine to the template.

Be cautious about boxing in isolating valves, and make sure that all pipework is solidly clipped.
