Back to wall toilet

I have all the pipework in place for a back to wall toilet (which worked prior to removing for tiling the wall). The plumber who fitted the pipework is no longer on the job. The new guy is saying that there should have been some sort of fixing framework so that the pipework behind the wall doesn't move. (It is a flexible waste that curves up from the toilet then down - a bit like an S trap) Are there any instructions anywhere on fitting a back to wall toilet? I'm really not sure who is right.

if it was a wall hung wc not a back to wall wc

(It is a flexible waste that curves up from the toilet then down - a bit like an S trap)
that'll work a treat.
