Bad taste in drinking water

A post the other day about bad tasting water after washing machine move . I had just the same after usin S*rew Fix extension pipes. S*crew Fix said they sold thousands of these pipes and no complaints. I removed the cold valve & changed it for a check valve type. Now OK, lesson learned.
