Hi all, a friend of mine has individual taps on her basin, this problem was there when she moved in. The problem is they don't turn off in the normal way, they turn off as you normally would but water is still drizzling out so to stop the drizzle you have to turn back on slightly, have been told by plumber this is the norm what do I know have never come across this before, can anyone advise, thanks for your time!

It sounds like the ceramic inserts are past their best, BB.....new ones could be available from B&Q etc or Lunns.net - but you'll need the exact replacement for them to fit in the tap body.
Or - new taps of course!
John :)

Thanks John for the info, much appreciated!!

Get a set of tap revivers, avoids the need to match the spline number and width as long as they are standard 1/2".
