I have just fitted a new bath and am having trouble with the waste - which is a Bristan "clicker" type. The instructions say to put a rubber washer into the bath rather than bedding the waste on mastic. This makes the waste stick out too much and some water remains. Has anyone else had this problem? Could I just use mastic do you think? Also, sealing in the overflow banjo is a nightmare. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
Are there any other simpler types of clicker available?
