Do I pay the plumber to raise the toilet so that I don't get backflow of jobbies?
I didn't want a new soilpipe 'cos I thought it would be too much work but now the toilet is not high in relation to the soil pipe. I've already paid for the job and have been in contact since to let him know about the backflow. Question: will he charge to rectify it, i.e raise the toilet base?

Yes he will charge you, you choose not to have a new soil pipe in the first place, so it must of being discussed.

Thanks. I was half expecting it. I just want to kick myself!

He charges £165 per day or £35 per hour; how long would you say he'll take to :
1. create a new soil pipe or
2. raise the toilet?
And which is a better option in the long run?
Ta in advance.
