Bathroom towel rad problem

I am trying to replace a radiator that is part of a towel rail.
The original rad was 400mm wide x 500 high and was held between 2 vertical chrome side rails fixed at top and bottom to the radiator feeding the water in.
The centre of these supports supports are 445 mm apart .
I can buy a replacement radiator but the centres of the new rads connections are all 450 mm
apart.
This means I can not connect and support the new radiator.
Anybody got any ideas how to overcome this 5mm discrepancy?

If the issue is in width then either brute force and ignorance, or a smaller rad and some extension tails. If it's in height you need a new towel rail

Replace the whole thing.
