Hello,

I am changing the diverter valve on my baxi 105e combi boiler.

Can anyone tell me how to disconnect the 10/12 mm pipe which enters the diverter valve at the rear?
Its the one with a sprung clamp on it. I have removed the clamp but the pipe will not budge.
It looks like some sort of push fitting? No union / thread.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Steve

yes it is just a push fit with an O ring on it but if you are in a hard water area they can be a pig to get out and are easily snapped, if you have a blow lamp some heat can be enough to loosen it

TRY holding pipe and twisting the valve to break the seal .

Bit late but no need to change entire valve just stripping it and cleaning it works 99% of time
