I've read all the posts (especially jasonvaughn) about this problem. A Corgi mate of mine is fitting a new expansion vessel Tuesday to my 2 year old boiler as he believes it's my problem - he charges the air side and it leaks pretty quickly to the water side. He left me with the boiler firing (it wasn't before he came). It stopped after approx 1 hour and for the last 2 days comes on for about 15mins. when it wants to i.e. the heating or water green lights are calling but the flame does not ignite. I can understand the boiler cutting out if pressure rises but why won't it light. Is there anything I can do to get ashower before the new part arrives ? I have tried draining the boiler and recharging water to everything from 0.5 bar to 1.5 bar. Thanks in advance.
