i have a Baxi comb 105 HE which this morning stopped working when hot water was run
this problem fixed itself when i put the CH on
but now the CH has gone off too and the flue/fan warning light is flashing
i have reset the system to no avail and was wondering if there was anything i could do short of calling a plumber

any help gratefully appriciated

Is the boiler still under warrantee?

If not have you had it serviced?

Without testing the boiler I would wonder if the heat exchanger is scaled up on the inside or deposits have built up on the outside.

Certainly the transfer of heat from the combustion gasses to the system, water seems to have been impared.

Thats assuming that the power input is not set too high!

Thats the kind of problem you find if you dont have it properly serviced!

With that light flashing the chances are your air pressure switch has gone.

no not under warantee and never had it serviced coming up to 3yrs old
strange thing happened now though i put heating on and it came on
it may have something to do with the air pressure as the gauge keeps dropping in pressure
any idea of how much i'd pay to get it serviced?
