i am fitting a beech solid wood worktop over a belfast sink. i need to cut a hole for the sink what should i use to cut it?
The edge ends up on show so i need a very good finish.
Trim to within a few mm with a circular saw or jig saw then finish the edge with a router and straight cutter, run the router along a straight edge. The arrises can then be eased with a bearing guided roundover or chamfer cutter and don't forget a drip edge on the underside of the overhangs.
