Anyone got a rough idea on cost for options for a new shed roof? I've worked out the roof to be around 50sq metres surface area - it's a standard pitched roof around 30 degrees. Shed is 7m long by 5 m wide. So far I've got proper trusses on 600 centres and am about to board it with 18mm OSB3.

Was thinking of DIY A1 protect film with felt shingles on top? Does this sound right or should I use underfelt?

Alternatively what would a torch-on roof cost? Is this a DIY?

Thanks folks

Put a proper underlay under shingles. Torch on needs doing properly and will be approx £20 m2.

Thanks Xenon, when you say 'proper' underlay what do you mean exactly? Do you mean felt underlay or Dupont Tyvek type stuff? if 'felt' I understand this should be laid horizontally - should there be cold sealant at the joints?

Yes, felt underlay nailed, and if monopitch run it horizontal.

Shingles are DIY.
