The best answer to this would be if fit non-Islamist women were to wear the skimpiest bikinis possible.

This would p*ss off your average conservative Islamist and at the same time be very pleasing to our eyes.

I didn't think the women wore these things because they were ashamed of their bodies - although, no doubt, a lot should be if they are the same as non-muslims.

Why aren't all clothes banned on beaches and when swimming?

Wearing the latest men's beach fashion of knee-length (virtual) culottes when swimming is no less illogical than a burkini.

E.g. while wife wearing skimpy bikini-
Logical? sensible? Necessary? Attractive?

It's probably better if they are kept covered up on the beach. Some male Muslims do seem to have a hard time keeping their urges under control and inevitably it'll be the woman's fault no doubt.
