BMW 320 back brake cover coming off

hi All
please see image. my brake cover is coming off. i tried to super glue it back but did not work.

can anyone please advice on what sort of glue to use to stick it back please? is there a special glue to use for this sort of jobs on cars?

Super glue usually does the trick unless its contaminated or there is a gap? Little bit of clear household mastic might fill any cavities, stressing on a little, or it will be everywhere.

If this is the lamp mounted on the bootlid for the reversing/rear fog light, then the only answer is to replace it. Look on e-bay, I bought a pair for my 323Ci for less than £20 each!
