Boiler: No Hot Water

Hi all....

Recently bought my first house and have a problem with my boiler. I have a Ocean Alpha 240 Eco combi boiler, which has two thermostats on the front (one for hot water and one for radiators/hotwater).

The radiators work fine but there just isnt any hot water??? When selecting the hot water the boiler just doesnt fire up or the indicator light for hot water doesnt come on? When selecting radiators the boiler fires up no problem but still no hot water?

I will have to get someone to look at it in anycase but would like to know the problem first in possible

the hot flow switch is knackerd

recommend you get a competent person in to sort it. sorry

do you have any idea how much that could cost?

the flowswitch is 93.54 plus VAT from parts centre

allow an hour at least to fit
