Since last night I have been having a problem with my boiler. The pilot light will ignite and stay lit but when the heating is switched on the boiler starts to fire up and after 20 seconds or so goes out completely. There is a noise when it tries to fore up similar to a gas hob when all the holes from the rose aren't ignited.

I hope that makes some sense and that someone has some ideas as I am bloody freezing this morning :(

The boiler is a Gloworm Economy Plus

You need a corgi reg engineer for that sort of problem. But just check that there isn't an obvious problem with the flue outlet, like something blocking it.
