Bosch classic 6 1200 express washing machine which registered f:21, so changed brushes as really worn and reset fault, but drum doesn't rotate? Can hear clicking as if trying to send signal, but no action?

Are you sure the brushes are in the correct way round & not sticking in the holders?

Double checked bushes, can see they are physically touching motor and correct way round

When you say you checked the brushes & they were touching the commutator, you really need to pinch the wire attached to the brush pull it back & release it so that it springs back into position then you know it has spring pressure holding it down onto the com. & not just friction. Failing that it would seem that you may have a board fault or a duff motor, but I think that unlikely. Also have you tried switching off at the wall & leaving for 10 mins before trying again?

Have left it unplugged while at work, will check spring pressure again tomorrow. Is there any way to check if there's a board fault or duff motor?
