Hi All,
First post and it's a problem....
I have the above machine it's about 5 yrs old never had a problem with it until now. Yesterday i done a full wash and noticed a funny noise, it was like the rubber was straining/screeching let the machine run but when it was on the final spin the noise got worse and it started to smell like something was burning??? I've got the machine open and all seems to be fine re the motor. The belt on the flywheel is looking good and no sign/smell of burning on motor or and belts i can see.
Anyone have any idea's please before i get someone out to have a look and probably rip me off re price...
Cheers guys.

While you looked at the motor did you remove the brushes to check for excessive wear or brushes sticking in their holders? Have you examined the commutator surface for signs of arcing damage?

Hi, I have a similar problem with a Candy machine & found the Bearings had failed making a noise when spinning but also causing the drum to cut into the rubber at the top causing a bad burning.
If you open the door and try to lift the drum and feel any play before the whole thing moves this may be the cause of you problem
The bearings are only about £20 but can be tricky to fit and not for the novice

Hope this helps
