Bosch Maxx 6 won't spin - brushes?

Hi guys,

I have a Bosch Maxx 6 washing machine that's a few years old now. It works OK, except when it gets to the spin part of the washing cycle the drum doesn't spin up. It's cleaning clothes, but obviously they are absolutely soaking wet once the cycle has finished.

Do you think this is likely to be caused by worn brushes?

If so, would the instructions in this video apply to my machine?

It doesn't look difficult in that video, but I want to make sure that changing the brushes in my machine is going to be done in the exact same way as in that video.

There's a very good chance that your brushes are shot......can't comment on that particular machine or video but the brushes are either clipped in or the holder is held with a screw or two.
You've nothing to lose really - get stuck in!
