Would anyone have any ideas on the neatest looking solution.

I was hoping to grass to the fence without any borders but the sharp change in level won't look good.

I hope the pic reflects the issue...

All I can suggest is to either tunnel under the existing gravel boards and add packing ( bricks or a cut gravel board) or undermine the existing gravel boards and lower them one by one.

How big is the biggest gap?

Thanks for the reply. O can't lower the gravel board as they are fitted to the height of next door's land.

I'm thinking a border of some sort is the easier option.

Cheers

What will be the gap if you level the lawn?
A house brick is 4" (engineering bricks are better if buried)

You can buy concrete edging or just a basic concrete gravel board and cut it with an angle grinder with appropriate disc. I imagine that you could get away with cutting it short so you don't need to use the post slots

does the fence belong to your neighbour?

How does his ground level compare to yours?
