Box Lintel Joist Hangers?

I'm wanting to put a x2 3.7m box lintels on my inner and outer brick leaves to open the kitchen up.. Problem being, the ceiling is lower at a point to accomadate the staircase landing upstairs.. Is it possible to fit joist hangers to box lintels, if so are there any tyoe you would recommend, or would I need to get some welded on, are box lintels ok to weld to, its x2 3"x2" joists I need to support...

You need to check with the manufacturer. Probably not, so consider a proper beam instead
