Hi
Can any one tell me what sort of gap I need to leave around my boiler when boxing it in? The boiler is an Optia FF50 and the top and bottom of the cupboard will be left open for ventillation purposes.
Thanks
Peely

You need to refer to the MI's instructions for clearances etc. If you haven't got them search for Ideal Classic FF350 as yours is this boiler re-badged by Plumb Center. You shouldn't need compartment ventilation with this boiler ;)

I checked, because Ideal are always a pain.

The removable front door has to be 75mm from the front of the boiler, and you DO need compartment vents IF you did have a top or a bottom on the cupd.
Side clearances 5mm.
