Bristan Monoblock Kitchen Tap Spout Leaking at swivel joint

I am at bit of a loss!
I have removed the tap spout with no problems.

The leaking tap spout has two 'o' rings fitted to the swivel base.

Ok, I have not got Bristan's spare parts pack costing £12+ for a pack of two 'O' rings and a plastic ring, but I do have a box of mixed 30 various size O rings which I use in vehicle engineering jobs.

So, despite all of those O rings I cannot stop the leak at the swivel! Do I need an original manufacturers spares Pack?

Has anyone got a good tip to effect a repair?

wrap ptfe tape round the o rings & coat with h/t silicone grease. if still leaking body of tap may be worn.

Thanks for the tip using PTFE and Silicone. Seems to have worked..
