Britony Combi SE Boiler

I have a Britony Combi SE boiler with what I believe to be an error (however I can't find the apparent error listed in the manual).

On the temperature gauge when heating water for hot water or the heating, two lights flash across the temperate gauge (rather than just displaying the actual temperature).

Any suggestions?
