Hi,

Having a bit of bother with only small parts (1% in total) of a old (68 years) plaster walled bedroom.

I am using B&Q matt emulsion thinned down 25-30% & am getting these cracks & bubbles/blisters. I have a little plaster sealing fluid & so am trying that on the patches just now (Midnight!) after I scraped the paint back to bare plaster.

For my next room should I go with a better emulsion (Crown, Dulux etc) or use a proper plaster sealer like I'm trying or even Polycell problem wall???

Thanks for any help on this "I'm never going to get this room finished" problem :)

Co.

Id go for lining the walls with 800 grade...by the time you have done all that scraping your going to need to do a lot of filling too...the lining paper might save you a job
