Would appreciate any help.

We moved into this new build property (1st floor, 2 bed flat) in March 2008. It has a Buderus 500 - 24C combi boiler installed which was put in November 2007.

Over the last year or so we've been having problems with the hot water at the taps but particularly at the shower (shower is thermostatically controlled). At first, hot water flows through but about 50% of the time it then starts to run cold.

I have to switch the boiler off and on, and more often than not, this fixes the fault. Just not convenient to do when showering the toddlers!

No problems at all with the central heating side of things.

Is it a common fault? Any suggestions?
