Hi all, hopefully you can help.

I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to DIY, but I'm willing to learn.

I'm wanting to build a voice booth, effectively a wooden box with acoustic foam tiles on the inside that I can walk into and close the door behind me to record audio. The door doesn't have to 'shut' properly, just needs to close over, if that makes sense.

Measurements wise, It would be 1990mm tall, then 1000mm by 1000mm.

My question is, what would be the best type of wood to order for this and would wood glue and a nail gun hold the bulk of this together when I build the frame?

Thanks in advance!
