building a wardrobe

I would like to build a wardrobe to fit a specific corner of our bedroom.

I would like to use solid wood have a basic design that I have only seen available in prefabricated MDF.

I live in Newcastle and was wondering how I should start my quest?

Maybe post a picture of the prefabricated one you like and the space you want to fill . That'll give people a chance to understand better what you are trying to achieve .

You may have only seen available in prefabricated MDF for design reasons, moving to all timber construction does present problems.
