We need to put an extractor in our utility due to condensation, however we're limited to where it can go.

The flue for the boiler exits the same wall where the extractor fan would go, however does anyone know what the minimum distance from a flue an extraction vent has to go?

Wouldn't like the gases coming from the flue and back down the extractor vent when not in use

Normally 300 mm away on the same flat wall.

But most extractors have closing flaps for when they are not blowing from the fan.

Ah thanks. I took a stab at 300 but thought I'd check. It's a Vaillant, however can't remember the model. It's not a Combi but I'll look in the manual when I find it
