built in cooker/ fitted cooker into freestanding space

Is there any reaosn why I could not fit a built in cooker meant to go in a cabinet or cupboard into my space between two kitchen cabinets.
space is 60cm

cooker is Dimensions(cm): H88.5 x W59.5 x D55.0

The only 2 reasons I could think of would be cosmetic & practicality of use. It will look crappy & be too low to use if you are meaning between base units.

wit 1/4 of a cm on each side i can't imagine it would look too crappy and again it only 1.5m shorter than what i have...if its just cosmetic....well....you should see my unchanged from the 1980's rented kitchen units!
