burning smell coming from Bosch condenser drier

I've tried using low heat, but regardless I still have a burning smell when drying even for a couple of minutes. No smoke!! What should I be looking at?
Any help would be appreciated.

Check for a build up of fluff round the heater, which is normally situated at the back of the machine.
